We Believe
The Bible
We Believe that the Bible is the inspired, unfailing Word of God, without error, preserved in the King James Version for the English language.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalm 12:6,
ll Peter 1:19-21 & John 17:17
No words should ever be added or taken away from this book.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2
Proverbs 30:5-6 & Revelation 22:18-19
Trinity
The Trinity of God: (God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit).
We believe there is only one God in the Unity of the Godhead there are three persons. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are in equal in every way and harmonious in their distinct offices in the great work of redemption.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psalm 90:2
I and my Father are one. John 10:30
Psalm 83:18, Jeremiah 10:10, John 4:24, Matthew 28:18, John 17:5, 1 Timothy 1:17, 1 John 5:7, Revelation 4:11
Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal son of God became man, without ceasing to be God that he might redeem sinful men.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:5-8, Galatians 4:4-5
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through his sacrificial death on the cross. That our justification is made sure by his literal, physical resurrection from the dead
Acts 2:24 & 31-36, 1 Pet. 1:1-5 & 2:24, Eph. 1:7
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and is now exalted and sits at the right hand of the father as our advocate, intercessor and high priest.
Acts 1:9-11, Rom. 8:24, Heb. 7:25 & 9:24, 1 John 2:1&2

Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift (Eph. 2:8&9) and is received by faith, no works are involved.
The blood of Christ was shed for sin.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2
The Holy Spirit
Is a divine person equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature. He was active in creation (Gen. 1:2). He restrains the evil one until God’s purpose is fulfilled. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment to come John 16:8
He bears witness to the truth of the gospel. He is the agent in the new birth. He seals, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer.

The Church
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for the church (Eph. 5:25) and that it is God’s plan for this age. (Eph. 5:32)
It is a local, visible, body of baptized believers.

Baptism & The Lord’s Supper
Jesus gave the church these two ordinances. Before a person can be a member of the local church they must be saved and baptized by immersion in water. Matt. 28:19 & 20, Mark 1:10, John 3:23, Acts 8:39
Infant baptism is not in the Bible therefore the church shall never baptize infants. Acts 2:41 & 42, 8: 36-39
The Lord’s Supper: Members of the Church are to commemorate together the death of the Lord Jesus. The elements are the sacred bread and the fruit of the vine, preceded always by self examination. 1 Cor. 11:23-28
