Everyone is looking for peace. We often search for, and try to create peace through possesions, relationships and personal achievments, but daily it seems to escape us.  We live life filled with hurt and pain, never gaining any fulfullment despite our efforts.  There is only one person that can bring peace to our chaotic existence. The Bible says...

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace...  Jeremiah 29:11

God wants us to have peace in our lives.
Having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; Colossions 1:20
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: Isaiah 53:5

God sent us his gift of peace, but we have to accept that gift...
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1

God promises to give us peace; why don’t you accept that gift today...
And he said...Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. Luke 7:50
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:2
